Overview
The spontaneously organized premiere of "Uellendahl trödelt" in 2025 became a district hit: thousands of Wuppertal residents browsed the courtyards and garages of the neighbourhood, and the format immediately established itself as an annual event in Wuppertal's flea market calendar. The success motivated the initiators to repeat the concept in its second edition in 2026.
In spring 2025, the first Uellendahl residents spontaneously set up their second-hand stalls outside — the response was so positive that the initiative was immediately geared towards repetition. A map with participating addresses was created, the platform kieztroedel.de took over coordination, and the district flea market was born.

Over 100 private stalls in the courtyards and garages of Uellendahl, one day, voluntary.
