Württemberg Meets Baden — A Diversity of Wines

Bad Mergentheim is located in the southern Tauber Valley, right on the border between the two major wine-growing regions of Württemberg and Baden. The wine village takes advantage of this unique location to present an exquisite selection of wines from both regions:

• White wines: Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Riesling, Pinot Blanc/Gris, Weissburgunder
• Red wines: Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir, Dornfelder
• Regional rarity: Tauberschwarz — an ancient, nearly extinct grape variety cultivated exclusively in the Tauber Valley. It produces a light, fruity, and spicy red wine. This protected designation of origin has been replanted by a few dedicated winemakers.
