Getting There

By car: Via the Marschbahn (car train Niebüll–Westerland) or the A23/B5 to Niebüll, then take the Sylt Shuttle. By train: Direct DB Marschbahn from Hamburg to Westerland. Westerland train station is a 5-minute walk from Brandenburger Strand.

Registration

On-site on December 26th, 2026, from 1:00 PM in the Galerie am Meer on the Westerland promenade. Maximum 150 participants – places fill up within minutes. Registration is free.

Safety

The DLRG (German Life Saving Association) will be present with lifeguards. Put on warm clothing after the swim; there are mulled wine stands near the promenade. Those with medical risks (heart, circulation) should seek medical advice.
