The swb-Dragon Boat Cup has been held at the Schaufenster Fischereihafen since 2000 — for the 23rd time in 2025, followed by the 24th edition in 2026. At its peak, roughly between 2007 and 2012, around 800 participants took to the water at times. The Kanu-Verein-Unterweser has been the organiser throughout, continuing the competition's long tradition year after year and thus ranking among the region's defining water sports clubs.

The swb-Dragon Boat Cup is much more than a regatta: the colourful hustle and bustle can be perfectly followed from the shore, and the maritime backdrop of the Schaufenster Fischereihafen makes the day an experience for the whole family.
