Three days of food trucks, cocktails, and live music at Hinsbeck Market Square
The Streetfood Drink & Music Festival is one of the most popular culinary open-air events in the Lower Rhine region. From Saturday, June 13 to Sunday, June 14, 2026, the event will return to the Hinsbeck district of Nettetal for the third time. Hinsbeck Market Square will transform into an international street food stage with food trucks, cocktail stands, live music, and family activities. Free admission.
The format is deliberately family-friendly: Sunday afternoon is quieter, while Saturday evening is livelier with a concert highlight. Free admission — payment is exclusively at the stalls.
This is the 3rd edition of the festival in Hinsbeck — an now established event with a loyal following from Nettetal, Viersen, Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, and the nearby Dutch region (Venlo, Roermond). The Streetfood Agency, the organizer, hosts several similar street food events in NRW cities — Hinsbeck is one of the most charming locations thanks to its historic market square setting.
Hinsbeck is one of the districts of the municipality of Nettetal, which was formed in 1970 by merging several villages (Hinsbeck, Lobberich, Kaldenkirchen, Breyell, Schaag). With just under 43,000 inhabitants, Nettetal is located directly on the Dutch border in the Viersen district. The region is characterized by lakes (Nettetaler Seenplatte), forests, and Lower Rhine agriculture. Hinsbeck, with its historic market square and St. Peter's parish church, forms one of the most beautiful town centers in the region — a perfect setting for a cozy street food weekend.
