Street Food Festival at one of Cologne's largest squares

With over 100 meters in length and a prominent location between Schildergasse and Apostelnstraße, the Cologne Neumarkt is one of the city's largest and most important squares — and from May 28th to 31st, 2026, the stage for the Street Food & Music Festival. For four days, food trucks, bars, and DJ sets will define the scene at one of the most central points in Cologne's city center — directly at the Neumarkt KVB station with connections to all city districts.

International Street Food World

More than 20 food trucks will present their cuisines from around the world during the festival. Among them are: Ghanaian with Jollof Rice and Kelewele, American BBQ with pulled pork and brisket, Argentinian empanadas with various fillings, Korean fried chicken with gochujang glaze, Italian pasta freshly prepared, Mexican tacos made from corn tortillas, and Mediterranean cuisine with falafel, halloumi, and hummus. All trucks prepare food fresh on-site — no reheating, just a real street food experience.

Four Days of Music Program

Music will be offered on the central stage throughout all four days: DJs will start with relaxed daytime sets in House and Chart style, intensifying the tempo in the evening with Party and Urban sets. The program includes: House, Party Mix, Oriental Music, Chart Hits, and Urban Beats — a diversity that sets the festival apart from a classic street food market and gives it its festival character.

Motto: EAT – DRINK – DANCE

The festival motto 'Taste the World | Feel the Beat | Love the Moment | Enjoy the Festival' is the program: Street food, drinks, and dancing become a trilogy of a festival that consciously does not target a specific audience. Families will find child-friendly street food options and seating areas during the day, while young people come in the evening for the DJ sets and cocktail bars.

The organizer is JUST Festivals Event Media GmbH from Dortmund — a specialized event agency that organizes similar street food festivals in several major cities in North Rhine-Westphalia. The Cologne edition at Neumarkt is one of the organizer's largest and most prestigious events.
