This changed in 2024 when the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, in cooperation with the Hennef-based agency Heide Event, launched the Street Food Festival Neunkirchen-Seelscheid, bringing food truck culture to the Marktplatz Am Wiedenhof for the first time.
