About

»Steg in Flammen« is a weekly concert series held on a floating stage on the Amtswerder peninsula in Feldberg. The stage in the water, the undeveloped meadows surrounding it, and the hills of the Feldberg Lake District in the background make the venue one of the most beautiful open-air locations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

History and Concept

The series was initiated in 2009 by Christian Bermes and has since combined »music, nature, and community«. Since 2024, Seenplatte Events e. V. (Alexander Jeromin and André Idziak) has taken over management under the label »ruhepuls & friends«. 2026 marks the 18th season, with over 330 concerts having taken place over the years.

2026 Programming

The season runs from May to September. Weekly performances across various genres:

  • Rock and German rock bands (e.g., Marshall, B96)
  • Folk and Irish Folk (e.g., Irish Cowboys)
  • Comedy specials and readings
  • DJ events
  • Tribute shows
  • Singer/songwriter concerts

One of Mecklenburg's most iconic concert images is the reflection of the floating stage in the lake at dusk – one of the reasons why the 3000Grad Festival has also established its own »Steg in Flammen« variant as an off-format.

Regional Context

The Amtswerder peninsula is located in the Feldberg district of the municipality of Feldberger Seenlandschaft in the Mecklenburg Lake District. In addition to the floating stage, it is also the venue for the Easter bonfire in April and individual program parts of the 3000Grad Festival in August. »Steg in Flammen« structures the summer from May to September with a consistent weekly date.
