The Stahnsdorf Garden Festival is a community-driven festival centered around natural gardens, biodiversity, and ecological garden culture. In its 4th edition, it runs from March 21 to October 2026 with various events in the municipality of Stahnsdorf near Potsdam: Spring Festival at the Nature Kindergarten, workshops on perennial propagation, herb beds and garden design with the Blühteam, lectures on insect-friendliness, open gardens, and a new focus – the Natural Garden Fence Plaque, with which Stahnsdorf will award private natural gardens for the first time in 2026. The initiative is led by the municipality of Stahnsdorf together with local nature conservation associations.

The plaque can be displayed on the garden fence, visibly demonstrating that a piece of living nature is being cultivated here.
