Open-air cinema on summer evenings on the meadow by Stahnsdorf Town Hall
The TKS Summer Cinema is the inter-municipal open-air film series of Teltow, Kleinmachnow, and Stahnsdorf — the three closely interconnected suburban communities of Berlin in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district. Six screenings are spread across the three locations on Saturday evenings between June and August, free of charge and in a relaxed family atmosphere. Stahnsdorf will be the venue twice in 2026 — on June 27th and on August 1st.
On Saturday, June 27th, 2026, "Monsieur Claude and his Big Feast" (French comedy, homage to the "Monsieur Claude" family marriage saga) will be shown. On Saturday, August 1st, 2026, "Ticket to Paradise" with Julia Roberts and George Clooney will follow — light summer romance against a tropical backdrop. Both screenings start promptly at 10:00 PM on the meadow by the Town Hall / Fire Station (Annastraße 3, 14532 Stahnsdorf).
The organizers provide chairs; those who prefer more comfort can bring cushions and blankets. Food and drink stands will be available before and during the screening — cold drinks, beer, wine, snacks, popcorn. Dogs should stay at home, as the crowds and noise can be unsettling for many four-legged friends. In case of bad weather, the municipalities will provide information on their websites and social media channels.
With a good 16,000 inhabitants, Stahnsdorf is a growing municipality in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in the state of Brandenburg. The historic parish belongs to the TKS region — the unofficial designation for the trio of Teltow, Kleinmachnow, and Stahnsdorf, which are growing together in the Berlin metropolitan area. The Summer Cinema bundles cultural programs from the three municipalities and makes the neighbourhood experienceable as a shared cultural space.
In addition to the two Stahnsdorf screenings, four other films will be shown: "Barbie" (June 13th) and "Two Weeks Notice" (July 11th) in the Kleinmachnow Town Hall courtyard, "Das perfekte Geheimnis" (July 4th) and "Der Spitzname" (July 25th) in Teltow's August-Mattausch-Park. An admission ticket for Stahnsdorf is naturally not valid for other locations — the entire TKS Summer Cinema is free of charge.
The TKS Summer Cinema 2026 open-air series makes two stops in Stahnsdorf. Screenings begin promptly at 10 PM as darkness falls.
