The Spexarder Weinmarkt (Wine Market) is entering its sixth edition in 2026 and is one of the most charming early summer festival formats in the Gütersloh district. On May 15 and 16, 2026, the St. Hubertus Schützenbruderschaft Spexard (St. Hubertus Marksmen's Association Spexard) invites you to two days of carefully selected organic wines, cheese, homemade lard bread, tarte flambée, and Portuguese specialties around the historic Spexarder farmhouse (Lukasstraße 14). The market opens at 5:30 PM on both days. There is a bouncy castle for the little ones. Free admission.

Outdoor event under old trees around the half-timbered farmhouse. Long standing tables and benches, fairy lights, cozy wine atmosphere. In case of rain, the market will continue partly under the canopies and in the barn.

Train: Gütersloh Hbf, then bus 71 or 76 to Spexard (Lukasstraße or Spexarder Bauernhaus stop). Car: A2 exit Gütersloh, then follow signs towards Spexard, free parking nearby.

Tip

If you come without a reservation, be there at 5:30 PM on Friday to secure one of the best standing spots. The long tables in front of the farmhouse are usually full from 6:30 PM.

Spexarder Farmhouse as the Stage

The venue is the historic Spexarder Bauernhaus (Spexard Farmhouse) at Lukasstraße 14 in Gütersloh-Spexard. The listed half-timbered building and the surrounding barn with old trees and stables form an exceptionally atmospheric backdrop — wine and wooden beams, fairy lights between the trees, long tables with guests from Spexard and the surrounding area.

Carefully Selected Organic Wines

Unlike commercial wine markets, Spexard focuses on organic wines in a curated selection — rather small quality winemakers from German growing regions and selected European lines. From Riesling to Rivaner and Spätburgunder to Spanish and Portuguese lines.

Children's Area with Bouncy Castle

So that families can also enjoy wine, there is a children's area with a bouncy castle right next to the farmhouse. The little ones romp around, the adults taste — the concept has been working for five years.
