Main Summer Festival of Club Life

The Hitzhofen-Oberzell Volunteer Fire Brigade is one of the active brigades in the Eichstätt district and shapes the social life of the small village of Hitzhofen with its events. In the official club calendar 2026, the Sommernachtsfest on August 22nd is listed as the central date, alongside the general meeting in April and the performance test in September — a testament to the festival's importance in club life.

Festival Atmosphere at the Fire Station

The venue is the fire station of the FFW Hitzhofen-Oberzell. A marquee or covered catering area is set up outdoors, with several beer tables and benches inviting guests to linger. With around 1,300 inhabitants, it is one of the smaller municipalities in the region. Oberzell is a district of Hitzhofen; both villages are served by the joint Hitzhofen-Oberzell fire brigade.
