The Largest Festival in Erlabrunn
The Sommernachtsfest of TSV Erlabrunn is the largest festival event in the Lower Franconian wine-growing community of Erlabrunn am Main in the Würzburg district. Since 1990, TSV 1874 Erlabrunn e.V. has hosted the festival annually; the proceeds benefit the sports club.
Four Days of Festivities
The Sommernachtsfest runs from Friday evening to Monday evening over the first weekend of the Bavarian summer holidays. The festival grounds or the club's parking lot serve as the venue. Different bands play each evening; food and drinks are provided, including grilled chicken, a cake tent, and a cocktail tent.
Program for the Whole Family
On Sunday, there is a children's program during the day, while a vintage car meeting takes place on the adjacent sports grounds. Monday is dedicated to the youngest visitors with a children's flea market. A motorcycle service has been available since 2015. This makes the Sommernachtsfest much more than just a club festival – it's a meeting point for the entire region.
Wine Town on the Main
Erlabrunn is a traditional wine town on the Main River, north of Würzburg. The Sommernachtsfest combines sporting club life with Franconian festival culture and is one of the fixed summer dates in the Würzburg district.

For 2026, the Sommernachtsfest of TSV 1874 Erlabrunn is scheduled from Friday, July 31, to Monday, August 3, 2026 – coinciding with the first weekend of the Bavarian summer holidays. The venue is the sports grounds or the club's parking lot.
Different bands will perform on all four evenings. Grilled chicken, a cake tent, and a cocktail tent will cater to culinary needs. On Sunday, there will be a children's program and a vintage car meeting on the adjacent sports grounds, and on Monday, a children's flea market. The specific band names will be announced by TSV Erlabrunn closer to the date.

Getting There
Erlabrunn is located on the Main River in the Würzburg district, about 12 km north of Würzburg. Arrive via the B27 or by train (Erlabrunn stop on the Würzburg–Gemünden line). The festival grounds are the sports grounds / parking lot of TSV 1874 Erlabrunn.
Admission
Admission is free; proceeds from food and drinks benefit TSV 1874 Erlabrunn.
Tip
A dedicated service for motorcyclists has been available since 2015. Families will find a children's program on Sunday and a children's flea market on Monday.
