The Eichstädt Fire Brigade — 95 Years of Local Commitment

The Eichstädt Volunteer Fire Brigade celebrates its 95th anniversary in 2026. Founded in 1931 (or around that time, in any case in the early 1930s), the fire brigade has supported generations of Eichstädt residents as an volunteer emergency service. The 2026 Summer Festival — from 2 PM onwards

The summer festival begins on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 2 PM and runs until midnight. Celebrations will take place at the village square / Am Eichenring: a stage with live music (regional bands, cover bands), food and drink stalls run by the fire brigade and other village associations, a children's program in the afternoon, and dancing in the evening. The fire brigade is the organizer — and at the same time the main theme of the festival, which includes a ceremonial act, honors, a celebratory speech, and shared reminiscences of the association's history.
