Hennigsdorf, a town of around 26,000 inhabitants in the Oberhavel district, directly north of the Berlin city limits, is primarily known for its industrial tradition (steelworks, rail vehicle construction). With the concert series "Jazz im Sommergarten", the Stadtklubhaus has been setting a cultural accent for years during the summer months, bringing regional jazz formats to its garden setting. On June 6, 2026, the Berlin-Potsdam quartet Meier's Clan will be the guest.

Meier's Clan — Saxophone Quartet with a Wide Range

The ensemble consists of four musicians on soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones and brings an exceptionally versatile repertoire. You'll hear in a single evening:

The four saxophones cover the entire tonal range of a string quartet, translating pieces from diverse origins into a warm, multi-layered brass sound.

Opening Act: Hennigsdorf Music School

The evening will be opened by the band "Achiver", an ensemble from the Hennigsdorf Music School. This provides the local young talent with an open-air stage before the main program begins — a typical element of the series, which regularly combines regional talents with established acts.
