Naundorf, a village in the Nordsachsen district about 25 kilometers north of Leipzig, can look back on 775 years of first documented mention in 2026. Such a birthday is extraordinary even for a Saxon village — it points to a settlement history dating back to the 13th century. This is the occasion for an anniversary summer festival, taking place from Friday, June 26th, to Sunday, June 28th, 2026, on the festival meadow in Naundorf Park.

Three Days of Music, Games, and Community

The program spans three days, each from 7:00 PM to 11:45 PM. On the main stage of the festival meadow, bands from Naundorf, Nordsachsen, and the Leipzig region will perform — cover bands, Schlager artists, and dance music from the 80s and 90s. A dedicated dance floor invites you to move. Food stalls run by Naundorf's local clubs will offer bratwurst, fries, crêpes, grilled meats, salads, and beer. For the little ones, there will be play areas and interactive stations.

Club Participation and Naundorf Identity

The supporting association is the 'Ortsverein 775 Jahre Naundorf e. V.', founded specifically for the anniversary, which coordinates the activities of all Naundorf clubs — from the fire department and sports club to the carnival club and women's choir.
