35 Years of the Volunteer Fire Department

In North Saxon villages, the volunteer fire departments are social hubs: they not only organize fire protection readiness but also community life, village festivals, and mutual assistance. The Liebersee Volunteer Fire Department – Liebersee is a district of the town of Belgern-Schildau in the Nordsachsen district – is celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2026. This is the occasion for an extensive festival weekend on the festival meadow at the village community center.
