Thuringia's largest covered all-weather stage at Zeulenrodaer Meer
The Zeulenrodaer Meer is a reservoir in the south of Thuringia, on the border with the Vogtland region. A special venue has been created on the lake's peninsula with the Seestern Panorama Stage: covered, all-weather, and open-air simultaneously, with approximately 1,000 seats and a panoramic view of the water.
Unlike a festival, the Seestern Panorama Stage presents a continuous season from May to September with individual concerts of various genres. Classical music (Italian Tenors, Vogtland Philharmonie), rock and pop (Heino, Maschine, AC/DC tribute, Fleetwood Mac), comedy, and theatre alternate.
The town of Zeulenroda-Triebes in the Greiz district markets the Zeulenrodaer Meer as a supra-regional tourism and event region. Hotels, a wellness resort on the lake, and the Panorama Stage form a cohesive concept.
The 2026 season combines classical, rock, pop, and comedy in a continuous program series. The covered open-air stage with its approximately 1,000 seats directly on Zeulenrodaer Meer offers a unique atmosphere for every concert, somewhere between a stadium concert and a festival atmosphere.
