First Open Air concert of the Schlagermove family on the Heiligengeistfeld – Schlager highlights with Mike Leon Grosch, Michael Holm, Anna-Maria Zimmermann and more
In 2026, Schlagermove GmbH is adding a new Open Air concert format to its large Hamburg Schlager parade. Schlagermove in Concert will not be celebrated as a parade, but as a standing concert on the Heiligengeistfeld – with a stage, grandstand, standing area, and a line-up featuring current Schlager stars and cult names from past decades.
The Heiligengeistfeld, located between St. Pauli and Karolinenviertel, has been Hamburg's central festival meadow for centuries. It hosts the Hamburger Dom (a Volksfest three times a year), Schlagermove, major concerts, and large sporting events like the Active City Arena. The location is directly opposite the Flak towers and within walking distance of the Reeperbahn. The Hamburg-Mitte district / St. Pauli neighborhood knows the area as a hub for its biggest Open Air events.
On stage will be Mike Leon Grosch (Pop-Schlager, Deutsche Stimme 2006), Michael Holm (Schlager legend, "Mendocino", "Tränen lügen nicht"), Anna-Maria Zimmermann (Ballermann-Schlager, "Sweet Caroline"), Daniel Johnson, and Die JunX (Schlager boy band). DJ Vossi will host and mix the acts with Schlager classics from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The concept is consistently participatory: sing-along choruses, follow-along choreographies, a clear Schlager identity without cross-over ambitions.
The Hamburg Schlager parade, the actual Schlagermove, traditionally attracts hundreds of thousands of fans along the Reeperbahn. The new Open Air concert on the Heiligengeistfeld complements the parade with a standing concert experience and is therefore also aimed at Schlager fans who do not want to participate in the parade. In the state of Hamburg, Schlagermove has long been a brand name – the expansion into an Open Air concert is a logical step for Schlagermove GmbH.
The premiere edition marks the birth of a new Hamburg Schlager format. The Heiligengeistfeld becomes an Open Air Schlager stage for one night, with a concept focusing equally on Schlager classics and current hits.
The five acts cover the spectrum of German Schlager: from the legend Michael Holm to Pop-Schlager (Mike Leon Grosch, Anna-Maria Zimmermann) and the Schlager boy band Die JunX. The Open Air setting distinguishes the event from indoor Schlager galas and explicitly connects to the Open Air tradition of the Schlagermove parade.
The exact order will be confirmed on schlagermove.de and social media channels shortly before the date.
