Project SCHILLER
SCHILLER is the German composer and producer Christopher von Deylen, who has been one of the internationally most listened-to representatives of electronic soundscapes since the late 1990s. His live concerts combine synthesizer soundscapes, orchestral elements, and a sophisticated light show into a total audiovisual work of art.
Format »Sommerklang«
With »Sommerklang«, SCHILLER has developed an open-air concept that is specifically implemented in atmospheric outdoor locations. The Waldbühne Rügen with its natural arena, nestled in the beech forest of Rugard, is one of the most unusual venues on the tour.
Local Context
The Waldbühne Rügen is located on Rugardweg in Bergen auf Rügen, in the heart of Germany's largest Baltic Sea island and in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen. It is one of the most prominent open-air venues in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and hosts international acts every year — from Schlager to rock, classical, and electronic music.
