Enjoyment Fair at the Redefin Stud Farm
The LebensArt is a lifestyle and garden fair that takes place annually at Pentecost at the Landgestüt Redefin. Founded in 1812, the stud farm with its classicist buildings, old trees, and an extensive area of around 200 hectares provides an exceptionally atmospheric setting for the fair in southwestern Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Garden, Living, Fashion, and Culinary Arts
The LebensArt sees itself as a fair for stylish living in all its facets—from garden culture to living and fashion, to culinary arts and handicrafts. The carefully selected range includes seasonal garden ideas and special plants, tasteful interiors and handmade jewelry, individual fashion, as well as regional and international culinary specialties. Everything is presented in white pagoda tents, on manicured lawns, and in the historic buildings of the stud farm.
Family Program and Pentecost
The organizers place a special emphasis on families: In addition to offerings for garden, living, and everyday culture, there is an expanded hands-on program for children. On weekend days, demonstrations—for example, involving Shetland ponies—complement the program. The fair is open from Friday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., making it a popular excursion for the extended Pentecost weekend.
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Ludwigslust-Parchim
Redefin is located in the Ludwigslust-Parchim district. The stud farm is one of the oldest and most beautiful stud farms in Germany and is a cultural center of the region beyond the fair itself. The LebensArt combines the experience of this historic site with inspiration for the garden and home.
