Monzingen is home to the famous vineyard "Halenberg" – one of Germany's most renowned Riesling sites – and the "Frühlingsplätzchen" site. The family winery Weber practices honest, artisanal viticulture with a focus on Riesling and regularly participates in Wine Land Nahe initiatives.

Monzingen boasts a history of over 1,200 years and is one of the oldest and most beautiful wine villages on the Nahe. Worth seeing are the Romanesque parish church of St. Maria, the old town hall, and the historic half-timbered houses in the town center.
