Race & Rock'n'Roll on the Bergring
Rust'n'Dust Jalopy is not a classic motorsport event, but a vintage festival in the style of the 1940s and 1950s. The venue is the traditional Bergring Teterow, whose grass track with its inclines and declines perfectly matches the nostalgic character of the event.
The special feature: only classic cars and classic bikes manufactured before 1962 are allowed on the track. A unique combination of hill climb and dirt track race in Germany is held – a spectacle for lovers of historic vehicles.
More than a race
A complete festival weekend is created around the racing activities: classic cars and bikes are parked right in the middle of the action in the paddock with catering stands, beer stands, bars, and exhibitors. In the evenings, live Rock'n'Roll bands and DJs take over the festival tent, creating the atmosphere of American race-and-party weekends of the 50s and 60s.
Camping in the middle of the action
The festival is designed for overnight guests: the campground opens as early as Thursday evening, and the infield of the Bergring offers ample space for campers and vehicles.
Rust'n'Dust Jalopy — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of Rust'n'Dust Jalopy runs for three days on the Bergring Teterow. The grass track hosts the unique combination of hill climb and dirt track race in Germany – exclusively with classic cars and classic bikes manufactured before 1962.
The campground opens as early as Thursday evening, and the actual event begins on Friday afternoon. In the evenings, Rock'n'Roll bands and DJs create a 1950s atmosphere in the festival tent.

Getting there
The Bergring is located on Plauer Chaussee in 17166 Teterow, about 15 km north of Güstrow.
Camping
The campground opens on Thursday evening; the event starts on Friday afternoon. Classic cars and bikes can – if space is available – be parked directly in the paddock, while the infield of the Bergring is available for all other vehicles and campers. Showers, water, and bars are available.
