12th Krefeld Company Run at the Racecourse

Since its premiere in 2014, the RUN & FUN Krefeld Company Run has been a fixture in the Krefeld sporting calendar. The organizer is RUN & FUN Event GmbH from Mönchengladbach (Hilderather Straße 190). The run takes place on the traditional grounds of the Krefeld Racecourse in Krefeld-Linn — a historic sports venue whose track is ideal for a mass-participation running event. The 12th edition will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, starting at 4:00 PM.

5.2 Kilometers in the Lower Rhine Region

The course measures approximately 5.2 kilometers and runs over the race track of the racecourse and the surrounding paths. Participants start in team order — it is not a competitive race in the classic sense, but a team-building event for companies. The main criterion is not the best time, but team spirit, costumes, and the fun of participating together.

The motto 'The Team Wins' and the slogan 'The Company Run with Heart' reflect the event's philosophy: less competitive sport, more networking and employee engagement. Many companies from Krefeld, Mönchengladbach, Düsseldorf, and the Lower Rhine region use the run to bring their staff together — combined with the Lower Rhine lifestyle.

After-Show Party in the Beer Garden

After the run, the after-show party opens on the racecourse — in the beer garden of the Krefeld Racecourse, with DJ music, catering, drinks, and a relaxed atmosphere. Many teams stay until the evening, taking the opportunity for a casual get-together after their shared sporting achievement.

Krefeld on the Lower Rhine

Krefeld is an independent city on the left bank of the Lower Rhine in North Rhine-Westphalia, with around 230,000 inhabitants, known as the 'Silk City' and for Linn Castle. The racecourse is located in the west of the city in the Linn district — a traditional site with a history of horse racing. The company run brings thousands of professionals from the region together annually and is one of the recurring major events in the Lower Rhine region, alongside Carnival and the Tour de Neuss.
