The Rodinger Volksfest is one of the largest Bavarian Volksfeste in the Cham district. For nine days, the festival grounds on the Regen river transform into a mix of a festival tent, amusement park, and tradition mile. It kicks off with a traditional festival parade featuring over 2,000 participants and concludes with a fireworks display over the Regen. The festival is jointly organized by the City of Roding and the local Burschenverein (youth club), who are co-organizers and custodians of Roding's festival culture.

From June 27 to July 5, 2026, the Rodinger Volksfest once again invites visitors to the festival grounds on the Regen river. Nine days of festival tent, rides, a parade with over 2,000 participants, and fireworks over the river shape the program. The Mass (liter) of beer remains stable at €9.80. Reservations are possible from May 18, 2026.

By car via the B 16 (Cham–Regensburg) you reach Roding directly; parking is available in the town and in designated areas around the festival grounds. By train: Roding station (Schwandorf–Furth im Wald line).
