Open-Air Festival in the Rheingärten

The Rheingärten Neuenburg are an expansive park directly on the Rhine riverbank – stage, festival grounds, and spectator lawn all in one. The Rhein Feier Festival has used this location as an open-air summer arena for several years, creating an atmosphere between a major festival and a family celebration with the main stages set against the Rhine backdrop. The event is organized by the city of Neuenburg am Rhein together with local partners; the festival is supported by the community development on the Upper Rhine.

The BossHoss and Dick Brave as Headliners 2026

Friday, August 21, 2026, belongs to The BossHoss – the Berlin-based country-rock group around Sasha Donath (Boss Burns) and Alec Völkel (Hoss Power) brings their mix of cowboy demeanor and stadium sound to the Upper Rhine. Supporting acts: Human Touch and Jamie Clarkes Perfect. Saturday, August 22, belongs to Dick Brave & The Backbeats – Sasha's rockabilly alter-ego, which puts its stage show stamp on classics from Buddy Holly to Elvis. Supporting acts: Black Raven, Kentucky Boys, and Ballroom Stompers.

VIP Packages and Handicap Area

In addition to standard tickets via Eventim and Reservix, Rhein Feier offers premium VIP packages with a Mediterranean grill buffet, shuttle service, and drinks in the VIP area (access from 3:00 PM) for €175 (The BossHoss) or €167 (Dick Brave). Handicap tickets are available for €60 or €57 with proof of the "B" disability marker and access to a barrier-free area.

Neuenburg — the Town on the Rhine and the Border

Neuenburg am Rhein has around 12,000 inhabitants and is located directly on the A 5 motorway, Rastatt–Basel, directly opposite Chalampé in Alsace. In the 19th century, the town was an important Rhine port; today, it is a wine and excursion destination on the edge of the Markgräflerland region. The Rhein Feier Festival has been the city's biggest musical event in the summer calendar since the early 2020s.
