Equestrian Sport in Rostock-Südstadt
Since its founding in 1992, the Rostocker Pferdesportverein e.V. has been an integral part of Rostock's sports landscape. Training, club life, and competitions take place at its own riding facility on Schwaaner Landstraße in Südstadt — located on the outskirts of the Hanseatic city.
A Club for All Age Groups
With around 130 members aged between 6 and 65, the club is intergenerational. Notably, more than half of the members are children and young people — the next generation is highly valued at RPSV.
Broad Spectrum of Sports
The Rostocker Pferdesportverein offers an unusually wide range of equestrian disciplines: dressage, show jumping, cross-country riding, Western riding, vaulting, as well as leisure, side-saddle, and therapeutic riding. This diversity makes it possible for the club's tournaments to bring together different disciplines.
Tournaments and Competitions
The club participates in tournaments, championships, and youth sports games, and regularly hosts competitions on its grounds. At the club tournaments, riders from the club and the region compete against each other — a meeting point for the Rostock equestrian scene and a showcase for the club's youth development work.
