Family Festival in the Mühlenkreis

Rahden, in the Minden-Lübbecke district, is a small town with just under 16,000 inhabitants, characterized by the Mühlenkreis and its rural North German charm. The Family Sunday on the second Sunday in June is part of the "Rahden Summer Days," a series of events organized by the town to strengthen the identity and appeal of the city center. Families from Rahden, Stemwede, Espelkamp, Lübbecke, and Stemshorn traditionally visit the festival as a day trip.

The festival area is set up in front of the historic church square and on the surrounding central parking lots.
