The 2025 Family Sunday transformed Rahden's city center into a family mile on the second Sunday in June. Shops on the church square and along Lange Straße opened for Sunday shopping, children played on carousels and at activity stations, and families from the entire Mühlenkreis Minden-Lübbecke visited the town festival.
The 2025 Family Sunday successfully continued the series of Rahden Summer Days. The mix of Sunday shopping and family activities has proven successful for years — it revitalizes the city center and offers entertainment for all generations.
The town of Rahden and local businesses drew a positive conclusion and confirmed the continuation in 2026.
