PollerWiesen — Techno Open-Air with Cult Status
The PollerWiesen Festival is one of Germany's most traditional Techno open-airs. Since its first edition in 2013, the festival has established itself every spring in Revierpark Wischlingen as the season opener for the open-air Techno scene. In 2026, the 13th edition takes place on May 24 — with a concept of four distinct floors, spatially separating the different currents of electronic music.
Four Stages, Four Sound Worlds
The stage setup is the festival's trademark:
- Main Stage — International Techno headliners
- Beach Stage — House and melodic sounds by the water
- Hilltop Stage — Underground and Deep on the hill
- Hidden Stage — A secluded floor for the initiated
Lineup 2026 — Techno Greats by the Water
The 2026 edition brings together international Techno greats:
- Ben Klock — Berghain resident and Techno icon
- FJAAK — Berlin trio with live cult status
- Anfisa Letyago — Italian-Russian Hard Techno rising star
- A.N.I. — Newcomer headliner
The complete lineup will be announced on the official website and Resident Advisor.
Revierpark Wischlingen — The Venue
The Revierpark Wischlingen in the independent city of Dortmund (North Rhine-Westphalia), with its lake, hilly topography, and spacious green areas, is the ideal setting for an open-air event with a beach floor. Following the PollerWiesen Festival (16+), the traditional afterparty takes place at JunkYard (18+) — completing the Techno pilgrimage in the Ruhr area.
Open Air from Age 16 — Good for the Scene
The festival is designated for ages 16+ — deliberately lower than most other Techno festivals — thus also catering to the younger scene. The concept with four stages, an outdoor atmosphere, and an afterparty at JunkYard creates a seamless transition from a family-friendly open-air to a late-night rave.
One of the Ruhr Area's Top Festivals
Alongside Juicy Beats (Westfalenpark, 25,000 visitors) and MAYDAY (Westfalenhallen), PollerWiesen is one of the city's three most important electronic music festivals. Unlike MAYDAY (indoor) and Juicy Beats (mainstream mix), PollerWiesen focuses clearly on underground Techno and melodic House — the festival stage for the true scene.
