Dortmund Olé — the Mallorca Party in the Ruhr Area
Dortmund Olé is part of the “Olé Party Tour,” which bills itself as “the world's biggest Mallorca party tour.” On August 1, 2026, the traveling circus format moves into Revierpark Wischlingen, transforming the open-air grounds into a Ballermann stage — complete with all the classics from the German Mallorca scene and a Sangria-fueled atmosphere that typically lasts from midday until late evening.
2026 Line-up — the Ballermann Elite
The stage will feature the biggest names in the German Mallorca Schlager scene:
- Mia Julia — Mallorca Queen with hits like “Oh Baby”
- Mickie Krause — Schlager veteran and Mallorca institution
- Lorenz Büffel — Schlager star with hits like “Johnny Däpp”
- Isi Glück — Mallorca singer of the younger generation
- Julian Sommer — Schlager newcomer
- Frenzy — Party Schlager
- Rumbombe — Mallorca DJ and producer
Up to 20,000 Visitors
Dortmund Olé expects up to 20,000 visitors — making Revierpark Wischlingen one of Germany's largest open-air Schlager stages. This positions the festival in the same league as Schlagermove Hamburg or the Schlager Open Airs Munich.
Schlager and Mallorca — A Cultural Phenomenon
Mallorca Schlager is its own genre of German popular music — born in the beer bars of Ballermann (Sector 6, Playa de Palma, Mallorca) and gaining strength as a German phenomenon since the 1990s. The lyrics are deliberately simple, the melodies are perfect for swaying along, and the themes revolve around drinking Sangria, summer romances, and beach bliss. The genre is often met with amusement but is one of the most listened-to live music formats in Germany.
Revierpark Wischlingen — Stage for Major Events
Revierpark Wischlingen in western Dortmund (North Rhine-Westphalia), with its open-air area, is a regular venue for major events — including, besides Dortmund Olé, the PollerWiesen Festival, the Street Food Festival, and the Dortmunder Oktoberfest. This makes the park the most important event address outside the Westfalenhallen and Westfalenpark.
