The Picknick in Weiß is an event format that originated in Paris in the 1980s ("Dîner en Blanc") and has since established itself in many cities worldwide. Concept

The rules are clear: All participants dress in white. White tables, white chairs, white tablecloths, white napkins, white floral decorations. Anyone who fancies a splash of color will be out of place – the consistency of the ensemble is what makes the evening appealing. Food and drinks are self-catered – each table group takes care of itself; there is no catering service.

A Long Banquet Table

The tables are arranged on the central lawn of the palace park to form a long, continuous banquet table. Table neighbors become a dining community – strangers share bread, wine, and stories.
