On the high feast of Corpus Christi — in 2026, it falls on Thursday, June 4 — the Pastoral Area Paderborn NOW traditionally gathers for the festival service and the subsequent parish festival. The venue is the Schützenplatz, followed by a procession through the Riemeke/Schloß Neuhaus district, and the parish festival around St. Georg Church and Parish Hall at Neuhäuser Straße 78a in Paderborn.

Program Highlights of the Day

The festive day begins at 10:00 AM with the solemn festival service on the Schützenplatz — outdoors if the weather is good, in the church if it's bad. Afterwards, the procession moves towards Neuhäuser Straße, where the actual parish festival begins — from 11:00 AM around St. Georg Church and Parish Hall.

Culinary Delights from the Parish

Club volunteers and community members will serve guests with sausages, fries, soup, homemade cakes, waffles, ice cream, and drinks. Cake donations are accepted from noon onwards — an important pillar of the club's finances. Those who bring cake make an invisible contribution to the success.

Tips for Your Visit

Come to the festival service at 10 AM and join the procession to the parish festival — this is the traditional sequence. If you want to bring a cake donation: drop it off from 12 PM. For the children's flea market, sun or rain protection is recommended, as the sales tables are set up outdoors.
