The Pfälzer Weinfest Aichach is a firm fixture in the event calendar of the Swabian town of Aichach in the Aichach-Friedberg district. Every year on the Pentecost weekend, the historic Schlossplatz is transformed into a wine tavern, bringing the Palatinate lifestyle to the Bavarian Wittelsbacher Land for a few days. The festival is organized by the Aktionsgemeinschaft Aichach (AGA).

Vintners from the Southern Palatinate

The Palatinate wineries Jürgen Rummel from Nußdorf and Amselhof from Knöringen are responsible for serving the wine. They bring a wide selection of Palatinate wines, from fresh white wines to robust reds. The familiar atmosphere and the personal presence of the vintners contribute to the festival's special charm.

Flammkuchen, Saumagen, and more

Culinary delights revolve around the Pfalz: in addition to wine, there are Flammkuchen, Saumagen, and other specialties made from regional products, including from the "Hüttenzauber" stand.
