The Petertagskirta with Brunner Dorffest is a typical Upper Palatinate double event: a religious Kirchweih for the patronal feast of Saints Peter and Paul (June 28/29), combined with a village festival supported by the municipality and local associations. The festival takes place in the school garden of Brunn, a municipality in the district of Regensburg.

The Petertagskirta is organized by the municipality of Brunn together with the local associations: Volunteer Fire Brigade, Fruit and Horticultural Association, TSV, and Shooting Club. This supporting structure is typical for the rural Upper Palatinate – the village festival is also a social event that makes the association structures visible and strengthens them.

Brunn – Upper Palatinate Municipality in the District of Regensburg
