Largest digital and marketing conference in the German-speaking world
What distinguishes OMR from classic industry congresses is its staging. Instead of a pure conference with lectures and panel discussions, ramp106 GmbH organizes a two-day major event under the OMR label, combining exhibitor halls, stages, networking areas, and party locations into an overall experience. "Festival" is not a marketing slogan here, but a concrete formal decision.
The venue is the Hamburg Messe at Lagerstraße/Messeplatz — halls with a total exhibition area of around 100,000 square meters. The South, East, and West entrances will be activated during OMR, and the entire area will be converted into a festival landscape. The location between the Schanzenviertel and St. Pauli provides an urban backdrop that clearly distinguishes the festival from typical convention center conferences.
The numbers speak for themselves: Over 800 speakers on parallel stages, more than 60,000 participants per edition. This makes OMR the largest German conference for online marketing, the digital economy, and tech — and one of the largest in Europe. Topics range from performance marketing, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, branding, and influencer marketing to tech trends and digital leadership.
Previous OMR editions featured acts like Heidi Klum, Tom Brady (American football legend), Roland Emmerich (film director), and Bill Kaulitz (Tokio Hotel) on stage — a list that clearly sets the festival apart from purely industry-specific conferences. This prominence is not for mere self-staging but serves as an attention driver for the parallel specialist lectures.
Countless side events, side stages, exhibitor pavilions, and networking sessions run parallel to the main program. During the OMR days, Hamburg transforms into an industry-wide meeting point — in the evenings, participants continue their gatherings in bars and clubs in Schanze, St. Pauli, and HafenCity, with organized side parties taking place in locations such as Mojo Club, Übel & Gefährlich, and Markthalle Hamburg.
OMR requires a ticket. Prices vary depending on the ticket category and purchase time — early bird tickets are significantly cheaper than late purchases. Student and startup discounts are available. Tickets are sold through the Hamburg Messe ticket shop and omr.com.
In 2026, OMR continues its successful formula: two days, Hamburg Messe, exhibitor halls and stages combined. Key topics will likely include AI in marketing, new platforms, e-commerce trends, performance marketing, and branding — the exact thematic focus will be published in the months leading up to the festival on omr.com.
The complete speaker and stage program will be published from February 2026 on omr.com.
