The Photography Festival of the North

The North German Nature Photography Days are held annually in Waren (Müritz) in the Mecklenburg Lake District. The festival has established itself as a fixture for nature photographers from all over Northern Germany. The venue is the Bürgersaal Waren at Amtsbrink.

Lectures and Multi-Vision Shows

The focus of the festival is on lectures and multi-vision shows on nature photography. Both regional and internationally renowned nature photographers provide insights into their work, their travels, and their photographic techniques. The large-format image shows transport the audience to fascinating landscapes and into the animal world, both near and far.

Workshops and Excursions

Photo Market and Photo Competition

At the photo market – with free admission – exhibitors present current cameras, lenses, bags, tripods, and accessories, as well as travel offers, workshops, photo books, and literature. Those who have a day ticket can participate in the photo competition and win attractive prizes. Thus, the festival combines inspiration, knowledge transfer, and exchange among like-minded people.
