Electronic Festival at Dürener Badesee — Techno, Psytrance, Drum & Bass and Hard Dance on five stages with campsite
In recent years, the Nibirii Festival has become a central meeting point for the German and European electronic music scene. The combination of a natural lakeside location, professional festival infrastructure, and a curatorially diverse lineup has earned the festival a dedicated community of regular attendees in the 18-35 age group. In 2026, organizers expect around 20,000 visitors over the three days.
The festival is clearly structured curatorially: each stage has its own sonic signature and thus its own audience. The Pyramid Stage is the main stage featuring House, Techno, and Trance — international headliners. The Unreal Stage is dedicated to Hard Techno and experimental electronic music. The Forest Stage presents Drum & Bass and Bass Music, the Lagoon Stage features Groovy House, Trance, and Hard Bounce, and the Hidden Stage provides a platform for underground and emerging talents.
The 2026 lineup brings together some of the biggest names in the international electronic music scene: Vini Vici (Israeli Psytrance duo), Netsky (Belgian Drum & Bass pioneer), Wilkinson (UK D&B star), I Hate Models (French Hard Dance and Industrial star), Dax J B2B Daria Kolosova (Techno power set), Klangkuenstler (German Techno), and MUZZ (Hybrid Drum & Bass). Alongside them, around 100 other acts across all stages.
The festival is a classic camping festival with tents located directly at the festival grounds. 18+ and no caravans/RVs — the festival strictly adheres to a "tent-only" format, fostering a more intimate festival atmosphere. The Dürener Badesee also offers swimming and relaxation opportunities between dance sets.
The city of Düren is located in the Düren district on the edge of the Nordeifel (North Rhine-Westphalia) between Aachen and Cologne. The Badesee (swimming lake) east of the city center is one of the region's largest urban recreational areas. With an ICE train connection in Düren and the A4 motorway as the main access route, the festival is easily reachable from the entire Rhineland and beyond.
