Pentecost with Schützenfest and Funfair in Neuss-Furth

The Neuss-Furth Folk and Heritage Festival is the Pentecost highlight of the Neuss district of Furth. From May 22 to 26, 2026 – Pentecost Friday to Pentecost Tuesday – the St. Sebastianus Brotherhood Neuss-Furth e.V. 1932, together with the City of Neuss, organizes the traditional festival. Venue: the fairground at Kaarster Straße / Furtherhofstraße in the Furth district.

Two Parts: Schützenfest + Folk Funfair

The festival is organizationally divided into two parts:

• Schützenfest part – managed by the St. Sebastianus Brotherhood Neuss-Furth (founded 1932). Festival ceremony, King's shooting, parade, coronation. The fraternal tradition with festival tent, court, and honors.
• Funfair part – managed by the City of Neuss, which organizes the showman attractions. Classic Pentecost funfair with rides and stalls.

Opening Pentecost Friday by the Mayor

The festival officially starts on Pentecost Friday, May 22, 2026, between 4 PM and 5 PM. The Mayor of Neuss opens the festival with a speech and tapping of the first beer keg. From then on, the funfair runs parallel to the Schützenfest program. The festival ends after midnight – on Friday until approx. 1 AM, on the following days with similar closing times.

• Pentecost Saturday to Pentecost Monday (May 23–25): from approx. 10 AM until approx. 2 AM/midnight
• Pentecost Tuesday (May 26): from approx. 12 PM until approx. 10 PM

• Dschungel Express – roller coaster (Horster)

Note: No fun house this year (statement from the site manager). Plus classic stalls, shooting gallery, food stands, sweet shops.

Neuss-Furth — Western District of Neuss

Furth is a district in the west of Neuss, on Kaarster Straße towards Kaarst. Nestled between the city center and Neuss-Reuschenberg. The St. Sebastianus Neuss-Furth e.V. 1932 Brotherhood is one of the oldest brotherhoods in western Neuss and has been celebrating its Pentecost festival for almost a century. While the significantly larger and world-famous Neusser Bürger-Schützenfest takes place at the end of August in the city center, the Further Pentecost festival is the district's Schützenfest – mobilizing an entire district, with its own court tradition and its own festival tent.
