Volksfest in Mering
The Meringer Volksfest is the traditional Volksfest of the market town of Mering in the Aichach-Friedberg district in the Bavarian state of Bavaria. Every year, a classic Bavarian Volksfest with a festival tent, showmen, and live music is held on the well-known festival grounds on Reifersbrunner Straße. The next event will take place from June 18 to 21, 2026.
Festival Host and Brewery
The festival host is Lanzl Festzeltbetriebe, led by Michaela Kemper. The contract between Mayor Florian A. Mayer and Michaela Kemper has been extended for the 2026 Volksfest. The beer is again supplied by the Kühbach brewery under Umberto Freiherr von Beck-Peccoz; Christina von Grauvogl, owner of the former Mering castle brewery, is also among the event's partners.
Festival Tent and Program
The centerpiece is the festival tent with hearty catering and live music. The Joe Williams Band is already booked for Friday evening in 2026. The festival family around Michaela Kemper and Marianne Lanzl-Koch plans the detailed program, which will be announced shortly before the Volksfest. Showmen with rides and food stalls complete the festival grounds.
Four Days of Volksfest Atmosphere
Over four days, the Meringer Volksfest is a social meeting point for the market town and surrounding areas. The mix of festival tent, beer garden, music, and amusement park makes it a fixed date in the Bavarian-Swabian festival calendar.

Four Days of Volksfest
From June 18 to 21, 2026, Volksfest will be celebrated again on the well-known festival grounds on Reifersbrunner Straße in Mering. The festival host is Lanzl Festzeltbetriebe around Michaela Kemper; the contract with Mayor Florian A. Mayer has been extended.
The beer is again supplied by the Kühbach brewery under Umberto Freiherr von Beck-Peccoz. The Joe Williams Band is booked for Friday evening. The detailed program is planned by the festival family around Michaela Kemper and Marianne Lanzl-Koch and will be announced shortly before the Volksfest.
