In 2026, the city of Marktredwitz, together with the support association "Freunde der Glasschleif," will once again transform the industrial hall on Bauerstraße into the "Marktredwitzer Adventszauber" starting from the 1st Advent weekend. The kick-off is November 29, 2026; it will be open on each Advent weekend.
Directly connected is the EDEKA-ICE-ARENA — an ice rink that offers free admission for ice skating from the start of the market until early January 2027. The detailed daily program for 2026 (live music, St. Nicholas visit, concerts) will be published shortly before the season starts on glasschleif-mak.de and marktredwitz.de.
