Family Festival in the Town Park

The Stadtparkfest Waldershof is one of the regular summer events in the calendar of the town of Waldershof in the Tirschenreuth district (Upper Palatinate, Bavaria). The organizer is the town of Waldershof. The venue is the well-kept town park in the center of the small town, a green oasis with old trees, seating, and several stage areas.

Family Special 2026

The Stadtparkfest 2026 will focus particularly on the family program. The town announces a special "Family Special" with games, hands-on activities, and program items for young and old. This clearly positions the festival as a family event – a counterpoint to the region's more drinking-oriented Volksfeste.

Live Music, Food Trucks, and Club Stalls

As in previous years, several stages will feature live music. The styles range from Upper Palatinate folk music and Schlager bands to pop cover acts. Catering is provided by Waldershof clubs and local restaurateurs. In recent years, several food trucks have also been on site, offering street food specialties. Beer and drinks come from the region.

Waldershof and the Stiftland

Waldershof is located in the so-called Stiftland in the extreme northeast of the Upper Palatinate, not far from the Fichtelgebirge. The town is surrounded by forests, meadows, and small rivers, characterized by a long industrial history (porcelain, glass) and a mix of Protestant and Catholic traditions typical of the Upper Palatinate. The Stadtparkfest brings community life into an open setting.

Admission and Atmosphere

Admission to the Stadtparkfest is free. Families, club members, and visitors from the surrounding communities of Marktredwitz, Mitterteich, Tirschenreuth, and Bad Alexandersbad use the festival as a common meeting point. In good weather, the festival often extends into the late evening with dance music in the park.
