Mallorca Hits in the Ostwestfalen Gartenschaupark

What began in Rietberg in 2017 has developed into an institution of the Northern German Schlager and Mallorca scene: The Malle Festival Rietberg. On Corpus Christi Thursday, June 4, 2026, the Gartenschaupark Rietberg will transform into a huge open-air dance floor — sangria buckets, stage show, beer benches, and non-stop Mallorca hits. The organizers speak of the "ultimate party atmosphere".

Setup and Schedule

• Admission from 12:00 PM — DJ warm-up and sangria bar
• Afternoon program with the first artists on stage
• Main program with the top acts from late afternoon
• Stage show with elaborate lighting and laser technology
• Cashless system with "Cash Card" — load cash or card in advance, then pay only with the card

Rietberg and the Gartenschaupark

Rietberg (around 30,000 inhabitants) is located in the Gütersloh district in Ostwestfalen-Lippe. The town is famous for its preserved old town with baroque half-timbered houses and for the Gartenschaupark, which was created after the State Garden Show in 2008. With an area of 35 hectares, themed gardens, a bird park, and a playground, it is one of the most beautiful city parks in Westphalia. For the Malle Festival, the large open-air field will be used.

Ostwestfalen Schlager Stronghold

The Malle Festival Rietberg is one of the largest Schlager open-air events in the region. Similar festivals (Schlagermove Hamburg, Mallorca festivals in Berlin, Munich, Wuppertal) show how big the Mallorca-Schlager scene has become in Germany — Rietberg has established itself as an Ostwestfalen hotspot.
