In 2025, the Malle Festival Rietberg once again transformed the Gartenschaupark into a Mallorca-Schlager stronghold. Top stars of the scene, a fully utilized main stage, and thousands of fans from all over Northern Germany made the edition a highlight of the Ostwestfalen Schlager season.

The 2025 edition of the Malle Festival Rietberg confirmed its format as one of the most successful Schlager open-air events in Ostwestfalen-Lippe. Local press ("Die Glocke") reported on enthusiastic visitors; the cashless system, the professional stage show, and the high-caliber lineup ensured the event's character.

Mallorca-Schlager has established itself as a distinct genre in recent years — the mix of sangria bars, sing-along hits, and a summery, exuberant atmosphere appeals to a broad audience aged 16 to 60. With its festival location, Rietberg is centrally located for arrivals from the Ruhr area, Lower Saxony, and Hesse.
