Wine and Music in the Garden City

The wine festival „Wein und Musik auf Gut Rietberg“ will take place from Friday, May 29 to Sunday, May 31, 2026. The venue is the historic Gut Rietberg on Schloßstraße in the town of Rietberg, an East Westphalian garden city in the Gütersloh district. The festival combines wine tasting, regional cuisine, and concerts in an intimate, stylish atmosphere — three evenings, each with a different musical character.

Program 2026

• Friday, May 29, 2026: Salva Trio — Italian music. Atmospheric Mediterranean sounds, Mediterranean flair. Admission €19.
• Saturday, May 30, 2026: Liedgut — Rock/Pop/Soul arranged acoustically. The band is regionally known for their handmade cover versions of great rock and pop classics. Admission €19.
• Sunday, May 31, 2026: Jannik Regenberg — Singer-songwriter. Relaxed finale with original songs between folk and pop. Admission €3.
• 3-Day Pass: €12.

The Wines

On all three evenings, vintners will present a curated selection of German wines. Tasting by the glass, bottle sales, accompanied by small dishes from regional cuisine, perfectly matched to the wine. The selection changes daily — an incentive to visit on multiple evenings.

Rietberg, the Garden City in the Gütersloh District

Rietberg is considered the garden city of East Westphalia — the 2008 State Garden Show continues to shape the cityscape. With around 30,000 inhabitants, a well-preserved half-timbered town center, and its proximity to Bielefeld and Gütersloh, Rietberg is a popular weekend destination. Gut Rietberg is a historic estate on the outskirts of town, enabling events like this in an unparalleled ambiance.
