A New Schlager Open Air on the Mainschleife

The MainSchlager is a new open-air format, first held in 2026, in Volkach. The town on the Volkach Mainschleife is considered the wine capital of Franconia – now it's getting a summer Schlager festival that combines the relaxed wine country atmosphere with sing-along hits.

Hits That Touch the Heart

Up to seven artists will perform live on the Weinfestplatz. The concept deliberately targets a multi-generational audience – whether for singing along, dancing, or simply enjoying. The organizers expect Schlager fans from all over Germany, Austria, and Switzerland and promise "a summer evening full of hits that touch the heart.".
