The MainWeltmusik Festival has been Offenbach's annual date for international world music since 2015. The concept: a stage in the historic courtyard of the Büsing Palais, open to classical and folk music traditions from all over the world, combined with modern crossover. In 2026, the 12th edition will take place on Saturday, June 13th at 6:30 PM.
„Songs without Borders“
The 2026 motto reflects the programmatic claim: „Songs without borders – For cultural diversity, togetherness, and lived democracy“. The organizer is the non-profit association Su Arts e.V. – the festival is part of the official program of the World Design Capital (WDC) 2026 Frankfurt RheinMain and is funded by the state of Hesse, the city of Frankfurt, and the Frankfurt RheinMain Cultural Fund.

- Nina Ogot (Kenya) – Afro-fusion singer and guitarist

Büsing Palais Courtyard
The Büsing Palais is one of Offenbach's most beautiful neoclassical buildings – built in 1842 as a residential and commercial building for the industrialist Büsing family, the Palais today houses municipal representative rooms. The green courtyard is the ideal open-air concert backdrop for around 600–800 visitors and has been the permanent stage for the MainWeltmusik Festival for years. Accessible.
WDC 2026 – World Design Capital
Frankfurt RheinMain is World Design Capital 2026 – the international award from the World Design Organization, regularly given to regions that integrate design into all areas of life. The MainWeltmusik Festival is part of the official WDC program, underscoring the event's international reach.
