About MainCityTriathlon
MainCityTriathlon — edition 2026
On Sunday, May 17, 2026, everything at Schweinfurt's Baggersee revolves around the triathlon — concluding the endurance sports weekend that begins on Saturday with the MainCityRun. The organizer is the Running & Triathlon department of TG 48 Schweinfurt.
Competitions are held over the amateur sprint distance and the Olympic distance. A special highlight is the D-A-CH Championship in Para-Triathlon over the sprint distance, where the best para-athletes from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland are determined. Individual starting places for both the Olympic short distance and the sprint distance were already booked up two weeks before the event.
