Overview

The 4th edition of the MainCityTriathlon took place on May 31 and June 1, 2025, at Schweinfurt's Baggersee, organized by the Running & Triathlon department of TG 48 Schweinfurt. Around 3,000 active participants and spectators celebrated a weekend that combined inclusion and top athletic performance — featuring the D-A-CH and German Championships in Para-Triathlon, as well as the Bavarian Championship over the sprint distance.

In 2025, the MainCityTriathlon was held for the fourth time at Schweinfurt's Baggersee. The program included the sprint distance (500 m swimming, 20 km cycling, 5 km running) and the Olympic distance (1.5 km swimming, 40 km cycling, 10 km running).

The highlights of the sports weekend were the D-A-CH and German Championships in Para-Triathlon, as well as the Bavarian Championship over the sprint distance. The victory over the Olympic short distance was secured by Matthias Betz. Around 3,000 active participants and spectators experienced an event that stood for lived inclusion and top performance.
