In the heart of Wilhelmsburg Island Park, the green core of the Elbe island, the two Hamburg crews Liquid Concrete and datadrift take over the open-air stage for an afternoon. The event is part of the larger 48h Wilhelmsburg (June 12-14, 2026), a decentralized city festival that annually presents over 200 free events across Wilhelmsburg, Veddel, and Reiherstieg.

Drum and Bass in All Its Facets

The two collectives are dedicated to the diversity of the genre: "from the heavens of soulful DnB, down to earth to minimal and down into the catacombs of neuro funk". Eight hours of programming, nine acts, a shared statement for a DnB understanding beyond the mainstream festival circuit.

48h Wilhelmsburg as a Framework

The overarching festival 48h Wilhelmsburg is a free, citizen-driven cultural festival that has been spreading hundreds of courtyard concerts, readings, performances, and parties across the southern Hamburg district every year since 2011. Liquid Concrete x datadrift marks the electronic accent: loud, outdoors, no ticket required.

Island Park as Open-Air Location

Wilhelmsburg Island Park, created as a result of the International Garden Show 2013, is one of Hamburg's greener festival locations. Nestled between the Reiherstieg, Wilhelmsburg waterways, and industry, it combines East African vegetation, skate facilities, and stages into a hybrid park. For Liquid Concrete x datadrift, the central meadow will be transformed into a temporary bass arena.
